When a couple comes to you with a vision that includes tearing down their house, leveling their land, and throwing the most unforgettable wedding of their lives — all in under five months — you say yes… and then you get to work.

This wasn’t your typical backyard wedding. Amber and Scott entrusted us not just with planning their wedding, but with reimagining their entire property from the ground up. The goal? To transform the site of their house into a one-of-a-kind, high-design lakeside celebration that was equal parts glamorous, personal, and wildly fun.

We started by tearing down the existing structure, then spent weeks grading the land and hauling in tons of gravel to create a foundation worthy of their dream venue. At the heart of it all: a custom-built black and glass tent structure that was both architectural and intimate, offering unobstructed views of the lake and sky while serving as a stunning canvas for their story.

The design drew inspiration from tropical florals and vibrant colors, creating a lush and layered atmosphere that felt like a destination getaway — without ever leaving home. But the real magic was in the personal touches.

The couple met at a casino and share a deep love for the energy, playfulness, and thrill of it all. So we leaned in. Their flower girl tossed custom poker chips instead of petals. A dessert display designed to mirror a craps table turned heads and delighted guests. And for their grand entrance? Casino sounds — spinning reels, jackpot bells, and cheers — filled the air as they danced their way into the reception.

And it didn’t stop there. They’re also tattoo lovers, so we brought in two live tattoo artists who inked custom couple-inspired flash designs for guests all night long — a permanent souvenir of an unforgettable evening.

This event was nothing short of a feat of engineering, logistics, and design. Our team was challenged in every way — creatively, technically, physically — but seeing it all come together in such a spectacular, deeply personal way made it one of the most rewarding experiences we’ve ever had.

What started as a blank slate became a full sensory experience: heartfelt, bold, and completely unforgettable. Just like the Amber and Scott.
