When a national conference and tradeshow comes to town, Novonesis knows how to do things differently. This year, they wanted to treat their partners and clients to an evening that didn’t feel like just another post-conference mixer—and we were thrilled to help bring that vision to life.
With intention and flair, we designed an experience that honored what Novonesis values most: connection, authenticity, and excellence. The goal was simple: showcase the warmth, flavor, and fun of Omaha hospitality. No overproduction, no filler—just intentional design, thoughtful entertainment, and one incredible night.
The Venue: Châm Pang Lanes + Ghost Donkey
Tucked inside the heart of Omaha is one of the city’s most eclectic new gems: Châm Pang Lanes and Ghost Donkey. Part stylish speakeasy, part bold and playful bar, this space oozes personality—exactly the kind of venue that doesn’t need much added to make an impression. It was the perfect canvas to let experience take the lead.
The Sip: Bourbon, Elevated
Knowing this client’s deep-rooted love of bourbon, we brought in two seasoned bourbon experts from Old Vine Wine & Spirits to curate a one-of-a-kind tasting experience. These weren’t your average flights. Each expert hand-selected rare, high-end bourbons and guided guests through a tasting that felt more like a conversation than a class—personalized, interactive, and deliciously smooth.
The Play: Duckpin Bowling Gets Competitive
Châm Pang Lanes is known for its duckpin bowling, and we knew we had to lean in. We crafted a bracket-style tournament that brought out the best kind of competitive energy. Think high-fives, light trash talk, and guests cheering each other on with bourbon in hand. It wasn’t just bowling—it was team building with a twist.
The Plate: Global Meets Local
To round out the evening, guests indulged in a menu, courtesy of Flagship Restaurant Group, that was as diverse as it was delicious. Highlights included fresh sushi rolls, flavorful kebabs, tuna tacos with a kick, and locally inspired bites like wagyu beef and classic Nebraska potatoes. It was a culinary journey that gave a little nod to everywhere—while proudly repping home base.
The Takeaway: Do What Matters, Do It Well
This event was a masterclass in doing less, better. No gimmicks. No flash for flash’s sake. Just great food, great drinks, meaningful activities, and a venue that made people feel relaxed and ready to have a good time.
Events like this are what we live for—where strategy, design, and hospitality come together to create something unforgettable. Want to plan something that feels effortless and exceptional? Let’s talk.
